Lenz successfully delivered 1,100 sets of bus equipment for the Ulaanbaatar Capital Bus Project in Mongolia
Recently, Lenz successfully delivered 1,100 sets of bus equipment for the Ulaanbaatar Capital Bus Project in Mongolia, enabling the digital transformation and upgrade of the local bus system.
The success of this significant project not only highlights Lenz's technical prowess and product advantages but also injects fresh momentum into the company's international development strategy.
As Mongolia's capital, enhancing Ulaanbaatar's public transport system is of paramount importance in improving citizens' travel experiences and fostering the city's economic and social development.
Lenz's contributions to this project include the LZH310 AI Mobile DVR,LZ100-12P Multiple Application Driver Terminal, E60 V2.0 Bus Validator, Vehicle Alcohol Detectors, and Passenger Information Displays.
These will be installed in 600 brand-new buses and 500 renovated older buses, with all equipment and systems available in Mongolian. Notably, the E60 V2.0 Bus Validator enables payments via UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Self-issued Cards, and QR Codes.
The installation and operation of these systems will significantly enhance the operational efficiency and service quality of Ulaanbaatar's bus system.
It's worth noting that Ulaanbaatar experiences winter temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius, posing a significant challenge for both the cold resistance of the equipment we provided and the personnel involved in on-site project delivery.
Faced with this challenge, the entire Lenz project team collaborated to overcome obstacles. Through rigorous testing and optimization, we ensured that the equipment could operate reliably in the extremely cold environment.
Currently, our equipment has successfully passed stringent low-temperature tests and has been installed on a total of 600 buses. We aim to complete the installation on all vehicles by mid to late May.
This project goes beyond simple equipment supply, it encompasses the construction and optimization of a public transport monitoring platform in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
This platform serves over ten local bus companies, facilitating daily scheduling and operations, real-time monitoring and scheduling, and the generation of multi-dimensional data reports.
These functions, enabled by our Smart Transportation Cloud Platform, will significantly enhance the management efficiency and service level of the bus companies. Moreover, they will provide Ulaanbaatar citizens with a more convenient and comfortable bus travel experience.
Additionally, in response to local conditions, we have incorporated an alcohol detection function. This enhancement aims to eradicate drunk driving, safeguard the bus drivers' safety, and uphold the secure operation of local buses. This innovative addition has garnered significant recognition from the Ulaanbaatar government.
